Manchester United outcast Anthony Martial has finalised his move to Sevilla before the end of the month

Anthony Martial, a former Manchester United player, has joined Sevilla, the club announced on Tuesday.

For the remainder of the season, the Frenchman will play for the La Liga team. The 26-year-services old’s were sought by a number of teams, including Serie A heavyweights Juventus.

Martial, on the other hand, had his heart set on Sevilla and has now finalised his deal. This season, the striker has only made four appearances for Manchester United in all competitions. As a result, he has forged a fresh route in Spain in order to gain more playing time in the future.

“Sevilla FC and Manchester United FC have struck a deal that will see Anthony Martial, born in Massy, France on December 5, 1995, join the club on loan until the conclusion of the current season,” Sevilla’s official website stated.

“With the player able to play as a striker or on either wing, particularly on the left, where he can cut inside, the club has accomplished a huge signing and boosted their offensive options.”

According to sources, Sevilla will cover Martial’s wages for the next six months for €6 million. With addition, the forward has agreed to take a wage reduction to aid in the transfer.

Furthermore, the Spanish club has persuaded the Red Devils to forego a loan fee. At the end of the season, there will be no possibility for a permanent move.
