Thomas Muller has been linked with a transfer to England, with Everton and Newcastle United both interested in the 33-year-old

With Everton lacking Dominic Calvert-Lewin for the whole of the season and Newcastle without Callum Wilson, both teams are in desperate need of offensive reinforcements.

Newcastle are rumoured to be on the verge of signing Bruno Guimaraes from Lyon, and Muller’s addition would significantly boost their offensive depth.

Everton are currently looking for a manager to replace Rafa Benitez, and any move for Muller would have to be approved by the club’s board of directors.

Müller’s Bayern Munich track record

Muller has spent his whole career at Bayern, and despite the fact that he is already in his 14th season as a senior player at the club, he has nine goals and a staggering 20 assists this season under Julian Nagelsmann.

With 610 games and 223 goals, he is only behind Gerd Muller and Robert Lewandowski as the club’s all-time leading goalscorer.

With Bayern still in the Bundesliga and the Champions League, a transfer to the Premier League for Muller is expected to come next summer rather than now.
