Luis Enrique Declares Faith in His Team’s Superiority While Acknowledging Bayern and Arsenal’s Strength

Luis Enrique has boldly reaffirmed his belief that his side remains among the very best in Europe, insisting that no team surpasses them when performing at their highest level.

Speaking with strong conviction, the Spanish coach made it clear that his confidence in his squad has not wavered, even after recent setbacks that saw them fall short of expectations in the top-tier race.

“There is no team that is better than us,” Luis Enrique said.

“I said it before, and I repeat it.”

The manager emphasized that his daily exposure to the team gives him a deeper understanding of their capabilities than outside observers or critics. According to Enrique, the internal standards and performances he witnesses reinforce his belief in the squad’s overall strength.

“Even after losing the top 8, my opinion does not change,” he continued.

“I see my team every day.”

Despite his unwavering confidence, Enrique also showed respect to Europe’s other elite sides, specifically highlighting Arsenal FC and FC Bayern Munich as standout performers during the current campaign.

“These are the two best teams in Europe right now,” he admitted.

“Arsenal also had a great season, no doubt.”

However, Enrique suggested that Bayern’s remarkable consistency gives them a slight edge over their rivals. He pointed to their minimal number of defeats as proof of their stability and strength across the season.

“But in terms of consistency, Bayern is slightly ahead,” he explained.

“They’ve only lost two matches, and that says a lot.”

Still, the Spanish tactician maintained that his own team’s potential remains unmatched when they perform at their peak. He stressed that belief, identity, and execution on the pitch are the defining elements of elite performance.

“Still, when we are at our level… I don’t see anyone better.”

“It’s about belief, about identity, about what you show on the pitch.”

Enrique concluded with a clear message of confidence and unity, reinforcing his trust in the squad’s ability to compete with Europe’s finest.

“And I believe in my team.”
