Jimenez admits he has no release clause but not looking to leave Wolves right now

Wolves striker Raul Jimenez was enjoying an excellent season before the coronavirus put the Premier League to a halt.

Scoring 22 goals and registering 10 assists in all competitions, the Mexican has been elemental for his side as they look to book a place in the next season’s Champions League.

“They bought me for €40million, they will not sell me for less,” Jimenez said in an interview with Marca.

“There is no release clause, but the clubs here [in England], it is different how they are managed.”

“I see a lot of people talking and saying that ‘he’s [ready] for a top-six team’. Right now we are in fifth place and we are not behind anything of those teams.”

“I mean, apart from Liverpool who are way above this season, I think we are fighting as equals with everyone else.”
