Video: Mo Salah Needed Bodyguards After He Was Mobbed By Gabon Players Asking For His Shirt

Salah’s performances have wowed not just his fans, but his teammates as well, who are enthralled by the “Egyptian King’s” sheer presence on the field.

This was the case in Egypt’s most recent World Cup qualifier against Gabon, in which the Reds ace came off the bench for the final 30 minutes of a 2-1 victory at the Borg El Arab Stadium.

Despite Gabon’s setback, its players were more interested about keeping Salah’s shirt as a souvenir.

The 29-year-old was attempting to exit the field when he was approached by numerous teammates who wanted a valuable souvenir from playing against one of Africa’s biggest talents.

He handled the issue admirably, though, and appeared to indicate that the clothing had already been promised to someone else.

After the Pharaohs earned another three points in their bid for a place in next year’s World Cup finals, Liverpool’s most prized asset was surrounded by two massive bodyguards as he made his way to the tunnel.
