The Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime will return for its second cours (quarter of the year) in July, according to a promotional video released on Tuesday.
The sitcom debuted on TV Tokyo and its affiliates on October 10, and it is now available on 20+ services in Japan, including Hulu and Disney+. On October 10, Viz Media began streaming the anime on Hulu in the United States. On November 4, the English dub of the anime debuted on Hulu. On October 8, Viz Media staged the North American premiere of the anime at New York Comic Con. The anime is available on Disney+ worldwide, and Ani-One Asia is streaming it in various Asian countries. The anime will be broadcast over four courses (a quarter of a year), with breaks in between.
The anime follows the rest of the original manga to the finale. The Thousand Year Blood War arc is the manga’s final arc, spanning volumes 55-74.
Tomohisa Taguchi will direct the animation at Studio Pierrot in place of Noriyuki Abe. Masashi Kudo returns as character designer, and Shiro SAGISU returns to compose music.
Tatsuya Kitani, who performed theme and image music for the “Bleach Ex” exhibition, is performing the opening theme song “Scar,” while SennaRin is singing the ending theme song “Saihate”.
