Serie A | Bologna 0-2 Juventus | Juve Player Ratings

Juventus beat Bologna to increase their lead at the top to four points.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala got their name on the score-sheet with Ronaldo opening the scoring with a penalty and a thunderous strike from Dybala made it 2-0.

With this victory Juve have now increased their lead to four points at the top until Lazio face Atlanta away from home.

Here are the Juventus player ratings

Szczęsny – Looked shaky in his first game back, made some misplaced passes which put his backline under pressure. Not a great start for Juve No. 1. 5.5/10

Cuadrado – Even though his final ball was somewhat lacking but he had a prety good game as he always provided a passing outlet down the right and got forward. 6.5/10

Bonucci – Was neat and tidy at the back, had a shaky start but as the game went on he got better and covered well and made some great interventions. 6.5/10

De Ligt – Just like the whole back-line had a strange opening 15 minutes where he almost scored an own goal, but improved as the game continued and even played a part in Dybala’s goal. 7.0/10

De Sciglio – Played a pretty average game but kept things under control in defence. Went forward a lot in the second half and looked to be getting in the game but picked up an injury. 6.5/10

Midfield:

Rabiot – A welcome change in midfield made some nice passes in the first half, his presence dropped in the second half but overall a good start for him. 6.0/10

Pjanic – I don’t know what has happened to him, another poor game from him and he looks a shadow of himself, anonymous for a long period of time and made too many sloppy passes again. 5/10

Bentancur – One of his worst Juve game, didn’t look himself all game, made some very bad passes right from the start and even got in the books for a needless foul. 5.5/10

Forwards:

Ronaldo – Certainly his best game from the three since restart, looked lively in the first half, testing the Bologna goalkeeper early on and menacing on the lest wing. Converted the penalty to score Juve’s first goal and even set up Dybala with a great cross after some neat footwork. Faded as the second-half went, even missing a chance to put his side 3-0 up, still a great game for the forward. 7.5/10

Bernardeschi – A great game from him, the best player on the pitch, started slow but came onto his own as the game went on assiting Dybala for his goal and even set up Ronaldo which should have been converted even hit the post with a great strike. MOTM for me. 8/10

Dybala – Took his time to get going, but the finish on his goal was just exceptional, and he should have had a second soon after. 7.5/10

Substitutes:

Danilo – What was he thinking, Juve already have two fullbacks injured and then he just gets himself sent off for two stupid tackles. 3/10

Aaron Ramsey– 5.0/10

Blaise Matudi – 5.5/10

Douglas Costa – 5.0/10
