If there’s one thing that always goes hand in hand, it is Cristiano Ronaldo and setting new records.
The prolific Portuguese further enhanced his legendary status night, not that it needed any more enhancing, by scoring in Thursday night’s Champions League meeting between Juventus and Dynamo Kyiv.
A simple tap-in was all it took for him to get on the scoresheet in a match the Juve won 3-0, but the goal needed confirmation from the VAR after the opposition goalkeeper felt he was fouled.
Ronaldo’s goal saw him reach yet another milestone as he has now hit a total of 750 goals in his illustrious club and country career.
“750 goals, 750 happy moments, 750 smiles in the faces of our supporters,” Ronaldo wrote in a Twitter post.
“Thank you to all the players and coaches that helped me reach this amazing number, thank you to all my loyal opponents that made me work harder and harder everyday.”
