Ronaldo and Ramos share a photo after the game | Portugal vs Spain

Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos put their differences aside as the old team-mates caught up after Spain’s draw with Portugal on Wednesday night.

The pair grew a close friendship in Madrid for nine years but Marca recently reported that they had not spoken to each other in two years.

The fallout was reportedly due to how Ronaldo reacted after Modric won the Ballon d’Or ahead of him back in 2018. The pair looked to be in good spirits as their pleasantries after the game showed just that.

Ramos shared a picture on Instagram of himself with Ronaldo and fellow former Real man Pepe in the dressing room after the stalemate.

He wrote: ‘”We’re still around… and there’s more to come! Happy to see you, my friends.”

Ramos held up CR7’s shirt for the picture, it was a signed one and all three players had their arms around each other.
