Revealed: Cristiano Ronaldo could be set for Juventus exit after 2022

Cristiano Ronaldo could play at another elite club in Europe before he hangs up his boots for good.

The Portuguese has an exit in mind and will certainly not remain at the club beyond 2022, according to reports.

On many occasions, the 35-year-old has mentioned his intention to play until his 40s and that plan still remains valid.

The Portugal star may leave Juventus next summer or when his contract expires due to his ‘faltering’ relationship with the club, as per Italian outlet Tuttosport.

The report claims that Ronaldo is not interested in moving to the Chinese League or the MLS and wants to continue his trade in Europe. The report also adds that PSG could be tempted to make a move for the Portuguese forward.

“It’ll depend on how I feel, on my motivation, because physically it won’t be a problem,” Ronaldo told Marca last year when discussing retirement.

“You have to treat yourself well, but I don’t think that’s the most important factor. It’s more the psychological side that’ll make a difference.”

Ronaldo has scored a whopping 643 goals in 853 matches in club football and has shown no signs of slowing down so far.

CR7 returned to action after recovering from coronavirus in superb style last weekend by scoring two goals after coming off the bench.

Ronaldo will be looking to add to his tally in his first Champions League match of the season when Juve face Ferencvaros on Wednesday night.
