Kai Havertz will move to a Top Club after Leverkusen – Rudi Voller

Havertz will at one point make a move to world-class club, believes Bayer Leverkusen managing director Rudi Voller.

The 20-year-old has dazzled for the Bundesliga outfit this season, scoring 11 goals in 26 appearances as they chase a Champions League spot for next season.

Such a sparkling impact has not gone unnoticed elsewhere in Europe, with Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester United and Bayern Munich all reportedly interested in Havertz.

Voller, however, maintains that Leverkusen will try to keep their gem for at least one more year.

“I’m honest, I always have such a small hope that we can and will keep him here for another year,” the former Germany international and 1990 World Cup winner told to Sky Sports via Goal.

If Havertz eventually has to leave, Voller is in no doubt that it will be to a top team and they will keep their stance on his £90 million valuation.

“It doesn’t change the fact that he’s already a world-class player anyway, that’s what he was before. Now the attention is even more on him,” he added.

“He will switch to an absolute world-class club at some point.”
