Juventus looking to sign Willian for free this summer

The Brazilian has been at Stamford Bridge since 2013 and is set to be a free-agent when his current contract expires at the end of the season.

Willian is said to be looking or a three-year contract extension at least but Chelsea are not willing to offer that to a player who turns 32 in August.

The Brazilian and his family are thought to be well settled in London and would ideally like to remain in the City.

The one big factor that has put the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham as favourites to land him for free in the summer.

But Willian is also attracting reported interest from Italy too.

According to Sport Mediaset, Juve are eager to take advantage of another free agent situation after already swooping for Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot last year.

Willian has already worked with Maurizio Sarri and recently praised his former Chelsea boss on how much he enjoyed his methods.

Per the report, Juventus will monitor the situation of the former Shakhtar Donetsk man and would aim to beat the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham to his signature.

Sarri still rates Willian highly and sees him as one that can bring lots of experience and depth to the Juventus squad.
