"The Pirates: The Goblin Flag" also released a relationship chart for the film's main characters. Pirates are depicted in blue, bandits in yellow, and rebels in green.

The centre of the chart is occupied by Hae Rang and Woo Moo Chi, who have a mutually competing relationship summed up in the statement “There can only be one leader.”

She is not only a charismatic pirate commander who commands the seas, but she also owns her own ship. Moo Chi is the leader of his band of robbers, and Kang Seob (Kim Sung Oh) is his right-hand man; the two are like family.

Agwi (Park Ji Hwan) plays a similar role for Hae Rang, serving as the pirate crew’s “iron fist” and remaining completely faithful to Hae Rang.

Han Goong (Sehun) is touted as a superb archer who hits 100 percent of his targets, yet he has a peculiar relationship with natural con artist Hae Geum (Chae Soo Bin).

Their relationship is simply characterised as “something only the two of them are aware of.” Moo Chi and rebel Boo Heung Soo are also classified as having a “strange relationship” when it comes to mysterious relationships.

Mak Yi perceives Hae Rang as his adversary since he wants to be a pirate captain and the king of the pirates, but she ignores him.

As a result, Mak Yi joins forces with Hae Geum in a strategic alliance with Moo Chi and Hae Rang as their targets. Mak Yi feels sorry for Moo Chi since he is naive and uninterested in him, while Moo Chi feels the same way.

The premiere of “The Pirates: The Goblin Flag” is set for January 26.
