K-pop group BOYNEXTDOOR is continuing its impressive rise in popularity, achieving major success in Japan with its first full-length album HOME.
According to KOZ Entertainment on June 17, HOME secured the No. 1 position on the Oricon Weekly Combined Album Chart for the tracking period from June 8 to June 14. The album accumulated 161,569 points, highlighting the group’s growing influence in one of the world’s largest music markets.
The achievement comes shortly after HOME debuted at the top of the Oricon Daily Album Chart on June 10. The album maintained strong momentum throughout the week, recording approximately 159,000 copies sold in Japan during its first week of release and ultimately claiming the top spot on the weekly album chart as well.
Even more impressively, HOME surpassed 1.08 million sales worldwide within its first week of release, officially earning million-seller status. The milestone reflects BOYNEXTDOOR’s rapidly expanding fanbase and solidifies the group’s position as one of the leading rising acts in K-pop.
The strong performance in Japan is particularly significant as it demonstrates the group’s growing international appeal beyond South Korea. By topping multiple Oricon charts and posting impressive sales figures, BOYNEXTDOOR has further strengthened its presence in the Japanese music industry.
Since their debut, the group has steadily built a reputation for their youthful charm, relatable storytelling, and energetic performances. The success of HOME marks another major step forward in their career and showcases the increasing global demand for their music.
Following the album’s chart-topping achievements, BOYNEXTDOOR is expected to continue promoting HOME through various music programs and promotional activities, giving fans more opportunities to see the group perform tracks from their latest release.
