Bloodhound (Kdrama): Release date, cast and everything we know so far of the Netflix K-drama

Bloodhound also known as Hunting Dogs is directed and written by Jason Kim the man behind The Divine Fury(2019), Koala (2013) and Midnight Runners (2017). It will be the first time he will be working on a drama.

Bloodhound Plot

A noir action drama about three men who have become mired in debt and are trying to get out of it any way they can. It is based on a webtoon of the same name, “Hunting Dogs”

Bloodhound Release Date

Bloodhound is scheduled to premiere in the second quarter of 2023 on Netflix. The show is set to have 8 episodes. No release date has been announced yet.

Woo Do Hwan will play Gun Woo, a debt collector who enters the world of loan sharks to pay off his obligations. He was a promising boxer who won Rookie of the Year before meeting Mr. Choi and becoming a bodyguard. Do Hwan has previously dazzled in films and dramas such as Master (2016), My Country: The New Age (2019), Tempted (2018), and The King: Eternal Monarch (2020).

Lee Sang Yi will play Woo Jin, a boxer who meets Gun Woo as a rival but finds up collaborating with him. Woo Jin, who has some experience with daily instalment loans, will assist Gun Woo, who is unfamiliar with the private loan industry. Sang Yi is a well-known South Korean actor. Lee originally became interested in performing when he was in sixth grade and participated in an English play at his elementary school. In 2013, he made his stage debut in the musicals “How to Make a Star” and “X-Wedding.” In 2014, he made his feature film debut in the film “Slow Video.”

Park Sung Woong’s role is Myeong Gil, a nasty loan shark with dark goals who will clash with Mr. Choi. Park is a well-known South Korean actor. His acting debut was in the gangster comedy film “No. 3” in 1997. On October 18, 2008, Sung Woong married actress Shin Eun Jung. They met while filming “The Legend,” in which they both played lovers. Park Sang Woo is his son’s name.

Kim Sae Ron will play Hyun Joo, Mr. Choi’s successor who is like family to him. Kim is a well-known South Korean actress who made her debut at the age of nine. She is well recognised for her roles in Korean dramas and films such as A Brand New Life (2009), The Man From Nowhere (2010) and The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim (2021).

Other cast members include Heo Joon Ho and Kim Seo Kyung.
