Bayern chief – Cristiano Ronaldo is an extraterrestrial

Cristiano Ronaldo is in a class of his own when it comes to pulling off the impossible, having continued to fire in the goals without mercy at the age of 35 and still isn’t satisfied yet.

While most players his age are either retired or way past their glory days, Ronaldo continues to be the benchmark for even players 10 or more years his junior.

Key reasons behind Cristiano’s outstanding performances in his mid-thirties are down to his hunger, ability to adapt, and a brilliant level of fitness.

He even works out for three hours every five days a week on his endurance, speed, strength, and movement as he looks to satisfy that insatiable hunger for more trophies.

Now Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, whose own Bayern Munich team have ruled out signing Ronaldo in the past due to his age, is the latest big-name to tip CR7 to stay on top for some time yet.

“We are talking about an extraterrestrial,” the Bayern Munich chairman told Tuttosport.

“Ronaldo lives for football, like [Robert] Lewandowski. They train, eat, and rest with one goal: to improve their performance and be the best. And in the end, they are, like [Lionel] Messi.

“They are examples for young people. They are champions and super-rich, but every day they make sacrifices because they want to win.”

Ronaldo, who is under contract at Juventus until 2022, has previously suggested he could play football into his forties.

“He still has two years on his contract with Juventus and I expect two seasons at the top, then he will decide what to do,” Rummenigge said on how much longer the star could continue.
