Barcelona is considering wholesale changes this summer, with all but the likes of Messi available for transfer.

There has been plenty of talk about Barcelona being in a fragile state financially for almost a year now. The failure to re-sign Neymar was put down to money.

Now with the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and talk of monetary irregularities and inner turmoil, things are only looking worse.

A club once considered the benchmark of how a club should be run now finds itself on the brink.

Reports are emerging that almost the entire squad is for sale.

According to Sport Bible, president Josep Maria Bartomeu has all but admitted a wheeler-dealer type summer transfer window.

He said:

“There is not going to be as much money in the transfer market because of the pandemic.”

“But I predict that we are going to see a lot more swap deals.”

Other sources all agree that the only untouchable is talisman Lionel Messi, while there are numerous variations of who else will stay.

Some say Pique is safe, while there is a suggestion he could go and the likes of Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and Frenkie De Jong will be kept.
