Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang is not sure how he even missed the chance to snatch the tie late in Arsenal’s favor against Olympiacos.
Arsenal got knocked out on away goals last night after conceding a goal on 119th minute in extra-time.
However, they still could have won the tie and had a chance to score.
The ball fell to Auba who had just minutes ago scored an absolute beauty. But he missed a sitter from on five yards.
Speaking to BT Sport, he was not only disappointed but quite unsure as to how he actually missed.
He said:
“Very, very disappointing.”
“What can I say? It is very, very hard. It was a tough game again.”
“The last-minute goal was, yeah, unlucky for us. That is it.”
“I don’t even know [how I missed that chance late on].”
“I feel very, very bad.”
“It can happen but I do not know how I missed this chance.”
“I was tired, I had some cramps but it is not an excuse.”
