“Would You Marry Me” has released new stills ahead of its next episode, teasing a shift in the relationship between its leads.
The romantic comedy follows Kim Woo Joo (Choi Woo Shik), the heir to South Korea’s oldest bakery, and Yoo Mary (Jung So Min), a small business owner who enters a 90-day fake marriage with him to win a luxurious newlywed home.
In the previous episode, Woo Joo and Mary confirmed their feelings and began dating, but tension arose when Mary’s ex-fiancé (Seo Bum June) discovered the truth about their fake marriage.
The new stills show Woo Joo and Mary enjoying a park picnic date, sharing food and tender moments. However, the mood soon darkens as Mary avoids Woo Joo’s gaze and pulls away from his hand, leaving him sitting alone in the park.
The next episode of “Would You Marry Me” airs on November 7.
