Real Madrid have given a sneak peak of the future Estadio Santiago Bernabeu | Check it out

Real Madrid continue plans as the club began to work on the re-modeling of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Built in 1947, the Bernabeu will undergo a re-model that would see significant changes to both the exterior and interior look of the stadium.

In a video released on the Real Madrid Twitter account, the external facade of the stadium will be made up of strips of steel which will light up.

Added to that, images can also be projected from the surface.

The roof will also boast a new look, as well as a retractable feature that will enable matches to be played even under the most extreme conditions.

As part of the re-modeling plan, Real Madrid will also add restaurant and entertainment areas, while the museum in the stadium will also undergo an extension.

Los Blancos recently opened the Bernabeu as a centre for storage supplies, in the club’s bid to support Spanish health officials in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
