Ousmane Dembele looks set to stay at Barcelona this summer, with no club ready to meet the Spanish giant’s asking price of €60m for his signature.
Dembele will not be making a summer move away from Barcelona, according to a report emerging from Spain.
Marca report that prior to Dembele’s recent long-term injury, his representatives were already discussing with Barcelona regarding a potential transfer away from the club.
The report details that a potential decision was to be determined by his form and fitness but unfortunately the 22-year-old suffered a long-term lay-off.
Marca add that if Dembele is to make a move away from the club, the Catalan side will only accept €60m at least.
The report adds that due to the financial repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic, no club will be willing to pay that amount for the winger, especially given his injury record over the past years.
The future of Dembele at the club is still very much uncertain but it looks likely he’ll remain at the club for at least one more season.
