Netflix has released intense new stills for its upcoming thriller “As You Stood By,” adapted from Hideo Okuda’s novel “Naomi and Kanako.”
Directed by Lee Jung Rim of “VIP” and “Revenant,” the drama follows two women—Jo Eun Su (Jeon So Nee) and Jo Hui Su (Lee Yoo Mi)—who, trapped in unbearable circumstances, contemplate murder as their only escape.
The stills depict Eun Su’s emotional shift from calm professionalism to deep concern for her injured and terrified friend Hui Su. As they make a desperate pact to change their lives, their relationship and choices drive a gripping story of suspense and survival.
Other key figures include the menacing Noh Jin Pyo (Jang Seung Jo), his mysterious lookalike Jang Kang, and the enigmatic Jin So Baek (Lee Moo Saeng), whose motives remain unclear. Family members played by Kim Mi Kyung, Kim Mi Sook, and Lee Ho Jung also appear, adding depth to the tense emotional web.
“As You Stood By” premieres on November 7.
