Netflix Sets SBS Romantic Comedy Sold Out on You for Global Release in Q2 2026

Netflix has confirmed that the South Korean romantic comedy series Sold Out on You will arrive on the platform in the second quarter of 2026, with weekly international streaming to coincide with its domestic broadcast on SBS. The pickup adds another high-profile title to the streamer’s expanding Korean drama slate for next year.

Starring Ahn Hyo-seop, Chae Won-bin and Kim Bum, Sold Out on You centers on the unlikely connection between Matthew Lee, a multitasking farmer nicknamed Quail Lee, and Dam Ye-jin, a popular on-air host struggling with chronic insomnia. Their first encounters are marked by misunderstandings and bickering, gradually giving way to charm, comedy and slow-burn romantic tension as work pressures and personal challenges intersect.

The series is directed by Ahn Jong-Yeon and written by Jin Seung-hee, and blends workplace comedy with warm, character-driven storytelling. Supporting cast members include Yoon Jae-chan, Park Ah-in, Shin Dong-mi, Jo Woo-ri and Woo Hee-jin, rounding out an ensemble positioned for emotional depth and lighthearted humor.

While Netflix has not provided a firm premiere date, the confirmed April–June 2026 launch window places Sold Out on You in the heart of its upcoming Korean content cycle. The streamer’s 2026 Korea lineup spans romance, action and genre-hybrid shows, reflecting continued global demand for scripted Korean series.

For fans of workplace-driven rom-coms, Sold Out on You promises a blend of comfort, mischief and chemistry, underscoring the international momentum behind Korean storytelling as it heads into the 2026 broadcast and streaming season.
