Actress Jun Ji-hyun may reunite with Lee Byung-hun, following her collaboration with Gang Dong-won.

On the 3rd, a representative from Jun Ji-hyun’s agency told OSEN, “It is true that Jun Ji-hyun received an offer from the production team of Koreans. However, it has not been confirmed whether she will take on the role.”

The representative added, “Aside from Gunche(Colony), Jun Ji-hyun’s next project has not yet been decided. Koreans is still under consideration, along with other works that have been proposed to her.”

Koreans (working title) is a spy drama adapted from the acclaimed American FX series The Americans, reimagined with a Korean setting. While the original depicted the Cold War of the 1980s, the Korean version is expected to explore themes set during the country’s military dictatorship era.

Meanwhile, Jun Ji-hyun appears opposite Gang Dong-won in the Disney+ original series Polaris, which premieres next week (the 10th). Attention is now focused on whether she will once again share the screen with Lee Byung-hun, who achieved worldwide fame through the Netflix phenomenon Squid Game.
