‘It is what I live for!’ – Ronaldo talks on his love for breaking records

Cristiano Ronaldo says breaking records is ‘the thing that I live for’ and added, as there is always ‘another record and another new challenge’, his hunger never stops.

Breaking football records is basically natural to Ronaldo, having done so on many occasions. It doesn’t make a difference whether he’s on or off the pitch – the records continue tumbling on club and global level.

There is no stopping him, despite the fact that he will be celebrating his 36th birthday on February 5.

“For me, it is always a pleasure to beat all records,” said Cristiano Ronaldo.

“It is not easy to be at the top of the game for many, many years. I am really proud. But then, it is the job of the team and the coach, and everyone else.”

“These records are what I live for. After this, there will be another record and another new challenge before me.”

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return on football pitch for Juventus on January 3 in a home game against Udinese.
