Choo Young Woo is in talks to star alongside Kim So Hyun in the upcoming ENA drama “Romance Expert.” On November 4, STAR NEWS reported his potential casting, and his agency J,WIDE-COMPANY confirmed that he has received an offer and is positively reviewing it.
The drama will be directed by Ahn Pan Seok, known for hits like “Something in the Rain,” “One Spring Night,” and “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon.” “Romance Expert” tells the story of a man who loses his left leg to illness and a woman who rediscovers her passion after losing her way as a medical resident.
Choo Young Woo has been offered the role of Park Min Jae, a former swimmer who, after battling osteosarcoma, finds a new purpose in robotics and enters Seoul National University’s Mechanical Engineering department. Despite his calm exterior, he’s afraid of getting hurt and has “dating” on his bucket list.
Kim So Hyun is also in talks to play the female lead, Im Yoo Jin.
