Jang Won-young is once again making headlines, this time after unintentionally giving fans a glimpse inside what appears to be her ultra-luxurious Seoul residence through a series of recent social media photos.
The IVE member recently shared casual lifestyle snapshots on Instagram, seemingly focusing on everyday moments.
However, fans quickly shifted their attention to the background details, particularly the enormous living room visible behind her. The spacious interior immediately became a trending topic across online communities, with many netizens stunned by the scale of the home.

Screenshots of the photos quickly circulated online, prompting humorous reactions from fans. Some joked that the living room looked “big enough to play soccer in,” while others compared it to a luxury hotel lobby. Several fans even playfully commented that someone could “get lost” living in such a massive space alone.

Yet, beyond the impressive size of the apartment, the most talked-about feature turned out to be the designer sofa Wonyoung appeared to be relaxing on.
According to online discussions, the furniture is believed to be the legendary Dune modular sofa created by renowned French designer Pierre Paulin. Originally introduced in the 1970s, the iconic piece is known for its flowing, landscape-inspired shape and premium high-density foam construction, allowing owners to customize endless seating arrangements.

Widely regarded as one of the most collectible pieces in modern furniture design, the Dune sofa has reportedly attracted celebrity owners around the world, including Justin Bieber. Because the furniture is sold through custom modular configurations, pricing varies significantly depending on size and setup.
Online estimates have suggested that Wonyoung’s particular arrangement could be worth anywhere between $150,000 and $200,000 USD, sparking disbelief among fans. Many jokingly remarked that the piece looked “less like a sofa and more like artwork,” while others were left stunned by the sheer luxury attached to the interior.

Interest surrounding Wonyoung’s residence has also resurfaced due to previous reports from Korean media. In March 2025, reports claimed the idol had allegedly purchased a luxury villa in Seoul’s prestigious Hannam-dong area for approximately 13.7 billion KRW.
The property was reportedly located within the exclusive UN Village residential district, a high-end neighborhood known for its privacy, panoramic views of the Han River and Namsan, and celebrity residents. Reports at the time also claimed the transaction was completed without a mortgage, fueling speculation that the property may have been purchased entirely in cash.

Addressing the reports previously, Wonyoung’s agency stated that the luxury residence was intended for family living purposes.

As one of K-pop’s most influential fourth-generation stars, Jang Wonyoung continues to attract attention not only for her visuals and global popularity, but also for her high-profile fashion endorsements, luxury brand partnerships, and increasingly elite celebrity lifestyle.
