South Korean actress Kim Ji Won is once again drawing attention online after unveiling a striking new hairstyle that completely transformed her image.
On May 7, Elle Korea uploaded a new video to its official YouTube channel titled, “How Can You Not Watch When She’s This Pretty?! Check Out Princess Ji Won’s Preference Interview.” In the clip, Kim Ji Won appeared during a jewelry pictorial shoot, captivating viewers with her elegant visuals and refreshed styling.
The actress particularly stood out with her newly styled bangs, which gave her a softer yet entirely different atmosphere compared to her previous appearances. Fans also noticed her noticeably slimmer face, making her delicate features appear even more defined.
Alongside the pictorial shoot, Kim Ji Won took part in an interview segment where she shared personal thoughts about maintaining peace of mind amid her busy schedule.
“I try to make time for myself,” she said. “On set, I close my eyes even for a brief moment, and when I lie down at home and stare at the ceiling, I feel calm.”
The actress also reflected on self appreciation and living in the present moment when asked when she feels the most beautiful.
“I think right now is the most beautiful moment,” Kim Ji Won explained. “I tend to worry a lot and think often about the past and the future. But when you do that, it’s easy to miss the present. Right now is the most beautiful moment because it’s the moment we’re living in, so I think it’s important to cherish it.”
However, while many fans praised her visuals and new hairstyle, others expressed concern about her increasingly slim figure. Discussions surrounding her weight first gained attention in March when the actress attended a jewelry event in Milan. At the time, fans pointed out her prominent collarbones and visible rib cage, sparking online debate over her appearance.
The newly released interview video reignited those concerns, with some viewers commenting, “She’s gotten even thinner,” “Did she really have to lose this much weight?” and “She looks like a completely different person.”
Meanwhile, Kim Ji Won is preparing for her highly anticipated return to television with the upcoming SBS drama ‘Doctor X: The Age of the White Mafia.’ The medical noir series follows genius doctor Gye Soo Jung, also known as Doctor X, as she battles against a corruption filled organization while proving the true meaning of being a doctor through skill and determination alone.
The drama is based on the hit Japanese series Doctor-X: Surgeon Michiko Daimon, which became a massive success after airing on TV Asahi.
