The Wonderfools is an upcoming 2026 South Korean superhero comedy-action series for Netflix. Set in 1999, the story follows a group of everyday residents who acquire imperfect superpowers they can barely manage. Forced into an unlikely alliance, they face off against villains threatening the safety of Haeseong City. The series mixes humor, action, and late-90s nostalgia while offering a playful twist on the superhero formula. Park Eun-bin and Cha Eun-woo headline the cast, joined by both veteran and emerging performers. Directed by Yoo In-sik and written by Heo Da-joong, The Wonderfools is slated to premiere on Netflix in 2026.
