Upcoming JTBC drama “Efficient Meeting of Singles” is reportedly in talks to become the network’s first weekend series of 2026.
Starring Park Sung Hoon, Han Ji Min, and Lee Ki Taek, the drama is based on the popular webtoon of the same name.
The drama tells the story of Lee Ui Young, (Han Ji Min) a capable woman in her 30s who works as an assistant manager in the purchasing team of a hotel. At work, she is admired and trusted by her colleagues, including Jung Hyun Min (Jung Hye Sung) and Sim Sae Byeok (Kim So Hye). However, her personal life tells a different story—unfulfilled and lacking the spark she yearns for.
Determined to change that, Lee Ui Young decides to seek love through blind dates. There, she meets two very different men: Song Tae Seob (Park Sung Hoon), the owner of a woodworking studio, and Shin Ji Soo (Lee Ki Taek).
Song Tae Seob, with his gentle appearance and steady nature, dreams of building a family with someone he truly loves. In contrast, Shin Ji Soo values freedom over commitment—but as he grows closer to Lee Ui Young, he begins to see love and relationships in a new light.
It is expected to air following “Surely Tomorrow,” which is scheduled to run from December to mid-January.
